APPLICATIONS

TOMRA Mining has developed four applications for the different sorters within the diamond industry. The primary applications of Concentration, Final Recovery and Sort House utilize market leading XRT sensing technology to differentiate between product and waste based on atomic density. Additionally, the Waste Sorting application uses COLOR-NIR technology to remove non-product containing ores up stream of the processing plant.
